A powerful new and exciting feature has been added to BookmarkSync! Simply enter a few descriptive keywords and Sync2It's librarian automatically finds the latest relevant bookmarks and places them directly into the appropriate folders in your browser favorites!
Imagine thousands of users working together to find quality websites and then effortlessly sharing those links with each other. No manual tagging, no extra clicking or typing and no toolbars to install, no extra work whatsoever. Simply work on the internet as you usually do, adding new websites to your favorites as you normally would. BookmarkSync's sophisticated librarian does the rest.
How does she do it?
Susie, Sync2It's automated librarian, visits each of the websites bookmarked by our active user community right after it is uploaded to our server. Next, Susie determines if this website would match your specified interests based upon the search criteria you tell her about and the content of the website she is visiting. If she determines that you are interested in this sort of thing, she automatically places the link to the website into your browser favorites, directly into the folder you have specified. This can be a private folder that only you can see or a shared collection published anywhere on the BookmarkSync network.
Your bookmark collection is secure and private
Susie will NEVER add bookmarks to your collection unless you specifically ask her, and you can tell her to stop looking on a moment's notice, she's very obedient! If you don't like Susie's suggestions, simply delete the link from your favorites in the usual way. You won't hurt her feelings.
It's important you that know that she will never modify your bookmark collections if you don't specifically enable this feature. It will also be possible to remove all of her suggestions en masse if you desire to return your bookmark collection to it's pristine state.
How to get her started
In order to let Susie know what you want her to look for, you will need to create a bookmark 'collection' - which is really just one of your regular bookmark folders so Susie knows where to put your links. :
- Click on the "MySyncCollections" tab on the top of any page on the Sync2It website.
- Now click on "Add New" using the menu on the left-hand side of the page.
- Select the folder that you want Susie to use for your new websites.
- Enter the keywords that let Susie know what you are looking for.
That's all there is to it! Susie is now hard at work for you, automatically checking every new bookmark that's checked in to see if it matches your search criteria. She'll let you know when she finds something for you and exactly where she put it by a friendly email.
