Biography
Jack Dean, Chief Cook and
Bottle
Washer
Jack has over 20 years experience developing a wide variety of
software. From designing experimental depth measurement software
for nuclear testing at the Nevada Test Site, to
mission critical financial and operational polling applications for Watermill Express, LLC. As president and founder of Secure
Data Systems, Jack serves a wide variety of clients providing
business process services to businesses and organizations in Colorado
and throughout the Rocky Mountain region. Prior to this, Jack
served over 13 years as a senior process development engineer and IT
Department Superintendant for a US based aluminum manufacturing
company, where he designed and built a patented high-speed
automated surface inspection system marketed and sold
internationally.
Jack is also a licensed commercial airplane pilot with an instrument
rating and over 500 hours flight time in the Rockie
Mountains. He earned his license over 20 years ago in Van
Nuys, California, one of the busiest general aviation airports in the
country. Jack has instructed a number of new
and experienced pilots and also operates Experimental-Aircraft.org,
a website dedicated to those who love to fly.
Jack lives just outside of Brighton, Colorado with Susie, his wife of
many years and their 4 children, Sarah, Jackie, Abigail and
James. In their country home, Jack & Susie also tend to
2 quarterhorses, 25 chickens, 2 cats, various ducks,
cows and an occasional pair of bald eagles that visit now
and then.
