Sync2It Client - Version 1.6.5

 

This is version 1.6.5 of Sync2It.com's BookmarkSync for Windows product. This version can be retrieved on the World Wide Web at http://www.sync2it.com/download/default.php.

This is feature release of the client code for Sync2It.com. 

Changes

Built on the base open-source client v1.6.4 (stable) which:
 
  • added support for Netscape 6 and later, Mozilla and Mozilla Firebird
  • support for detecting changed bookmarks file location
  • added support for UTF-8 encoded bookmarks.html file format
  • added support for entity encodings in bookmarks.html file
  • added support for shared bookmark files
  • added integration for client-side bookmark manager
  • added full featured setup program for both the Sync2It Client and Bookmark Manager

Our bookmark manager adds the features that Mozilla already provides for our IE users. This manager works well and is integrated with our client to keep all of your bookmarks safetly stored on your computer in addition to our web database. We especially like the ability to publish your bookmark collections to a javascript based webpage for creating custom links-pages on a school or small business intranet
